Why location matters
- Regulation: privacy and data-protection laws may restrict where personal data is stored or processed.
- Contracts and public-sector rules: customers and government bodies often require in-country hosting.
- Performance: hosting close to users lowers latency.
- Trust: customers are more comfortable when their data stays in their own country.
- AI privacy: sending prompts and documents to a model hosted abroad can break data-residency commitments.
What we can deploy in your chosen country
- The web application, APIs and mobile app back end.
- Databases, file storage, backups and disaster-recovery copies.
- Logs, monitoring and analytics, so operational data stays in-country too.
- AI models: open-weight language models on GPU servers hosted in-country, or regional endpoints of managed AI services where they are available.
- Vector databases and embeddings for retrieval-augmented generation, kept alongside your data.
- Encryption with customer-managed keys, held in an in-country key service or hardware security module.
Where it runs
We design around the options that exist in your country:
- Regions of major public clouds, such as AWS, where available in the country.
- Local and regional cloud providers and data centres.
- Private cloud, colocation or on-premises servers.
- Fully isolated, offline deployments for sensitive workloads.
Cloud and AI-service availability differs by country, so we assess feasibility at the start and tell you what is possible before you commit.
Architectures we use
- Single country: everything runs in one in-country region, with backups in another site in the same country.
- Multi-country: each customer's data is stored in their own country, with shared code and one operations team.
- Hybrid: sensitive data and AI processing stay in-country while public content is served worldwide from a content delivery network.
Security and governance
- Role-based access, least privilege and audit trails for every administrator action.
- Encryption in transit and at rest.
- Documented data flows showing where each category of data is stored and processed.
- Infrastructure you own: we recommend deploying into cloud accounts owned by your business.
Regulations commonly involved
Examples include the EU and UK GDPR, Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Australia's Privacy Act, South Africa's POPIA, and national rules in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America, among others. Some sectors, such as healthcare and finance, add their own requirements.
Important: hosting in a country is one part of compliance, not all of it. We build the technical foundation and document it, and recommend that you confirm legal requirements with qualified counsel in your jurisdiction.

Frequently asked questions
Can you host my application in a specific country?
Yes. Tell us the country and we will assess the available cloud regions, local providers or private options, then deploy there. We confirm feasibility before work starts.
Can the AI models also run in that country?
Yes. We can host open-weight models on in-country GPU servers or use in-region managed AI services where they exist, with the vector database and logs in the same country.
Does hosting in-country make us compliant with local law?
Not by itself. It is an important technical control. Compliance also depends on your policies, contracts and processes, so involve legal counsel.
Who owns the cloud accounts and data?
We recommend that your business owns the cloud accounts and encryption keys. We operate the system on your behalf under access you control.
What if my country has limited cloud availability?
We can use local data centres, colocation or on-premises hardware, or a hybrid design. We will explain trade-offs early.
